As I look back on 2015, I think about how fortunate we have been.
When I started blogging in 2012 it was merely time to interact with the outside world. Since J had had some bumps in the road when she first came home, we spent a lot of our time at home, in hospitals and at dr appts. Now fast forward three years and our blog has moved from being mainly book reviews to a lovely mix of reviews! One of the things I have been most grateful for is the travel memories we now have. You can go here to see why travel has been so important to me.
In 2015, we made the decision to travel off of the beaten path and discover hidden gems right in the heart of the Midwest. At first F balked at the idea. She didn’t understand why we couldn’t go where her friends were going, like on Spring Break. We explained to her that not always doing what your friends are doing is the right thing to do. Sometimes it’s better to do your own thing because you never know what lies ahead. During our Spring Break trip, she proudly exclaimed, “this was so much better”!
We are very thankful for the travel opportunities we received in 2015! We can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2016! We are thankful to the CVBs and destinations that have reached out to us as well as to our readers! Without our readers, we wouldn’t be where we are now and for that, we are very thankful!
So without further ado, here our are most popular travel posts, as chosen by you!
