Does Indiana have the World’s Longest Water Coaster?
Why yes they do! Recently Guinness World Records confirmed that that the World’s Longest Water Coaster is in fact in Indiana! The “Mammoth” is located at Holiday World in Santa Claus.
The Mammoth’s record breaking length is 1763 feet! Covers three acres, has 6 linear induction motors which propels six passenger boats up each hill.
The Mammoth is seven stories tall and starts off with a 300-foot conveyor ride, which is referred to as a “lifthill” to the top to start the three minute ride.
Once you reach the top, you will be propelled through six additional drops, six additional hills, through five enclosed sections, round twists and turns and you will go down a 32 foot drop at a 45-degree angle!
The Mammoth is 69 feet tall from the lowest to the highest heights!
