Our Review of MegaFood Nutrient Booster Powder
My goal as a Mom to make sure my kids get enough protein in their diets. I’ve been looking for nutrient booster powder to put in their smoothies and foods that both tastes good and is effective. We all know if they can taste it and it tastes bad they won’t eat/drink it!
I was really intrigued when I heard about MegaFood’s Kids Nutrient Booster Powders. I love their company statement of, “Fresh from Farm to Powder™”. MegaFood has also been in business since 1973 and is based in New Hampshire. Their goal is simple. Making booster powders for kids who loathe taking a tablet multivitamin or have issues swallowing.
MegaFood Kids Nutrient Booster Powders are gluten free, dairy fee, soy free and free of pesticides and herbicides. They also contain no sugars, no sweeteners, no flavorings, no colorings and no preservatives!

For our review, I made Super Sunny Smoothies. My kids loved the smoothie. I didn’t even think it tasted too bad. Considering the kids drank the whole smoothie, I’d say it was a hit!
To make the Super Sunny Smoothie using the MegaFood Kids Daily Immune Nutrient Booster Powder (this will make 2 servings)
In a blender, mix the following ingredients together:
2 ripe bananas
1 orange, peeled and segmented
1 cup almond milk
1 carrot, peeled and cut up into 1 inch pieces (we omitted)
1 cup ice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 scoops MegaFood Kids Daily Immune Nutrient Booster Powder
To make Peanut Powder Bites using the MegaFood Kids Daily Multii or B-Centered Nutrient Booster Powder (this will make approx. 30 – 1″ balls)
Combine all of the following ingredients together into a bowl.
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup nut butter
1/2 cup currants or mini chocolate chips (we used white chocolate as that is what we had)
1/2 cup honey
4 scoops MegaFood Kids Daily Multi or B-Centered Nutrient Booster Powder
Sit the mixture together. If it’s too thick, add in another tablespoon or so of honey. Cover and refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Once the mixture is chilled use a spoon or cookie scoop to shape 1-inch balls. You could also line a small baking pan with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the pan, let it set and then cut into bars.
Store covered in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
I have to admit these were delish! My kids loved them too.
