Yummy Slow Cooker Recipes….do they exist? I know from experience that they do, however, a few weeks ago I was starting to believe that unless it was a recipe that I had personally tried myself that yummy slow cooker recipes didn’t exist!
About a month ago, I found a cookbook at our local library that had a couple of hundred of slow cooker recipes. I couldn’t wait to get home to plan out the following week’s meals all by using a slow cooker!
So I headed out to the store the next day and bought everything I needed to make 10 meals (this also included two desserts) totally in the slow cooker. Wanna guess how that week went?? It was bad. Not one single recipe turned out the way it said it would OR as it looked! I was bummed! By the end of the week, I was ordering pizza.
I use a slow cooker a lot so I know how it works, how food should look/not look and the fact that 10 out of the hundreds didn’t turn out really irked me. Especially with the money that I had spent on the ingredients. Why they didn’t turn out, I don’t know.
After thinking about it for awhile, I reached out to several bloggers that I know and asked them if they would share their best slow cooker recipes with me. Because let’s face it, there is nothing better then walking in your door at the end of the day to a meal that is already done or almost done!
I hope you find a favorite or two in our Yummy Slow Cooker Recipes roundup!
After going through all of these recipes yet are you starving? I know I sure am! Bon Appetit!
